GheeGhee is a trained teacher of English and Drama, with twenty years experience teaching & training adults and young people. He has worked overseas in many countries, including one year in Turkey and two years as a VSO volunteer in Egypt.

He also worked for ICA:UK, doing group facilitation & training. Since joining DDE 7 years ago, Ghee has worked mostly on the programme of public events and co-ordinating the Cultural Champions programme, as well as doing lots of training for school staff. Now, Ghee is the project co-ordinator of the Heritage-Lottery funded Telling our Stories project. Aside from work, Ghee is an active member of the Woodcraft Folk, and is married with two teenage daughters.
