Indian resourcesWhy not borrow a country artefact box full of fascinating everyday items to stimulate debate amongst your students? DDE can provide an artefact box for over 20 countries worldwide, from Mali to China.

We also have a British artefact bag which can be provided free of charge to use for discussion and comparison.

Artefact boxes contain a range of local items supplemented with educational resources: for example, hand-crafted tools and toys, traditional materials, photo-packs, flags, local school text books and clothing.

DDE member schools can borrow a box for half a term for £30, plus delivery as required (take out a new DDE schools' membership and enjoy your first artefact box each year with 50% discount - £15). Contact DDE on 01392 438811 or dde@globalcentredevon.org.uk to arrange to pick up your chosen box.

Click on the country-artefact boxes listed below to view a picture showing the range of contents for each box.
