Migration and Climate Change

In his talk Dr Safra de Campos will present an overview of issues of migration and climate change/environmental stressors and discuss scholarly debates on environmental degradation, conflict and displacement.

Dr Ricardo Safra de Campos is Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Exeter.
He currently holds research leadership roles in
Habitable – Linking Climate Change, Habitability and Social Tipping Points: Scenarios for Climate Migration and
MISTY – Migration, Transformation and Sustainability.
