Please join us on the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August in our ‘My Ride London’ cycle challenge to raise money for Cycle against Hunger 4 Uganda?

DDE’s Food for Thought (FFT) programme works with many rural Ugandan primary schools in Mubende and Tororo Districts. But just now, children and their families are going hungry. This is due to poor harvests, most probably linked to climate change, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

£30 will feed a family of 5 for 14 days or more. 100% of the money raised will be sent to Godfrey and Beatrice, our FFT co-ordinators in Uganda, to buy food and distribute to 10 families in each of 10 schools, in each district, so 200 families initially.

You can find out more about how the money will be used at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/DDECycleagainstHunger4Uganda

You can register to take part in the cycle challenge and set up your own Virgin Money Giving page at https://myridelondon.co.uk   - please select Devon Development Education as your charity.  We’d like to invite you to join the DDE team so please send us the email address you have used to register and we’ll add you to our Team page.

DDE is a registered charity 1102233.
