DDE is a steering partner in Devon's Fairtrade status success

What is Fairtrade? Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

What is Fairtrade Fortnight? For two weeks each year, thousands of individuals, companies and groups across the UK come together to celebrate the people who grow our food, people who live in some of the poorest countries in the world and who are often exploited and badly paid.

B2B FT Towns

Building the Coalition and Awareness and Engagement with Fairtrade Towns

1.Identify roasters, retailers, cafes and enthusiasts

2.Sign up local businesses and retailers in Fairtrade Towns interested in supporting or buying

3.Plan promotions with Fairtrade Towns, with potential stockists and roasters/micro roasters  - design and print materials that each town and business  can use

Fairtrade Devon has a Social Media Team of three Interns, Corin, Fleur  and Toby who will be helping to boost the message of Fairtrade and Fairtrade Fortnight on social media. Watch their video
